Horley Hall
Horley Hall was a boarding house for boys and girls. The boarding house closed several years ago (exact date, not available). The boys dormitory consisted of a 2-storey main dormitory located beside an outdoor basketball court, Classroom Dormitory located next to the Form 2 classrooms and the Swimming Pool Dormitory located next to the ACS pool. The Boarding Master (BM) was Mr. Brian Foenander, an avid field hockey coach and disciplinarian. His wife served as the matron. The Girls' Dormitory was located next to the Dewan Teerath Ram. The facility catered for about 200 boarders.
Inter-form games were played every year. Games included basketball, soccer, table tennis, volleyball and field hockey.
Every year, new boarders were required to participate in an Orientation programme. New students were made to dress in a costume suggested by senior boarders and prefects. New boarders were then made to parade around the basketball court.
